mondmagique Harry Potter Comment Ficathon
Because all this Pottermore business has reminded me how much I love this fandom, and how amazing Harry Potter is. This is a general HP ficathon so pretty much anything goes. Any ship, any character, any era. AU or canon, EWE or epilogue-compliant. Anything.
There are a few simple rules:
~Leave a comment with a prompt. The more specific you are the better, but it's not necessary. Just a quote or a picture or a song will do. And it doesn't even have to be that, it could just be the name of a ship, character, etc. and what you'd like the fic to be about.

~To fill prompts, you can do one of two things:
1. reply to each prompt with the fic, in multiple comments if need be, or
2. reply to the prompt with a link to your fic posted on your journal or any archive (fanfiction.net, skyehawke, etc.)
If you go with the second option though, make sure that the post is public. IT MUST BE PUBLIC.
~When filling prompts, make sure to label the subject as "Title - Characters/Ships - Era - Rating". This is for archiving purposes, should I decide to archive.
~You may make as many prompts as you like, and fill as many as you like. There is no limit to how many times a prompt can be filled so if you see a prompt you really like that already has 10 responses, don't worry, you can still write it! That said, be sure to share the love! Look beyond the first few pages!
~No ship wars, no rude comments, no hating period! The whole point of this ficathon is for all the HP fans to get together and reconnect! Also, people are being kind enough to take time out of their busy days to write these for you, so don't be mean! :)

Ron/Hermione - "you don't know how lovely you are" (occurs in HBP when Ron leaves the hospital wing)
Date: 2011-08-05 05:07 pm (UTC)Hermione sat at the back, a tall stack of books next to her as she ferociously flicked through the pages of a large book in front of her, frowning, clearly exasperated.
"Hi," He said softly, his voice low and raspy.
Hermione looked up and took a beat before replying, "Hi," She said simply, going back to her work.
Ron looked around, but luckily he didn't have an audience, trust Hermione to be in the library when she didn't have to be...
He sat opposite her and watched her for a few seconds, "I came to meet you," he mumbled, "wanted to know if you wanted to go for a walk?"
Hermione looked up, over his head and out of the window, "It's raining, Ronald,"
Ron felt the tips of his ears burn up as he flustered a reply.
"Oh - well... I just..." He tailed off, chewing the inside of his lip thinking of exactly what he wanted to say, "I came here to tell you I'm sorry," He muttered, feeling sorrowful, his eyes burning into her stance as she continued to flick manically. She still said nothing, Hermione was going to put him through his paces, that's for sure, "You don't know how lovely you are," He whispered softly, and Hermione stopped slowly, looking up, her face breaking slightly, "You sat with me for hours in the hospital wing, didn't you?" and Hermione's face flushed pink slightly, "I could feel you holding my hand..." He smiled.
Hermione's eyes darted away, closing the book on her lap and sliding it away, "I didn't want to leave you on your own..." She said, playing with the hem of her skirt.
Ron exhaled with a sigh and smiled gently, "Would you like to go for that walk now?" he asked.
"Yes," Hermione nodded, a small smile beginning to spread across her face, "I'd like that..."

Date: 2011-08-05 05:44 pm (UTC)Harry doesn't think the six year age gap between them and James' absolute dependence on Ted to be able to get through his life is right. He confronts them leading to a crying James, a furious Ted, and a confused but slowly understanding Harry near the end.
Bonus points if you have Ted act like jerk until James starts crying, and if James shouts at his dad to call him Jamie, not James. C=
